An Abrikandilu is a type of demon found in the Dungeons & Dragons multiverse, particularly in settings that draw inspiration from the cosmology and creature designs of Pathfinder or the Outer Planes. Often categorized among the abhorrent and twisted ranks of lesser demons, the Abrikandilu stands out for its grotesque obsession with beauty—and its complete lack of it.

These demons are also known as "wrecker demons," and they embody the sin of envy, particularly a violent hatred toward anything beautiful, artistic, or well-crafted. Once mortals who were obsessed with physical perfection or vain aesthetics, their twisted afterlives reflect this obsession in a cruel irony. They are deformed and hideous, often with mashed, pig-like faces, bloated bodies, and tusks or snouts, bearing no trace of their former beauty. Their appearance is so unsettling that it can evoke fear and disgust even from other fiends.

Abrikandilus are driven by an uncontrollable urge to destroy art, architecture, and beautiful things. They take pleasure in defacing statues, ruining paintings, and shattering stained glass. This hatred extends to people as well—especially those who are physically attractive or adorned with finery. They delight in tearing down what others have built, particularly anything crafted with love or devotion. This makes them especially dangerous in cities or temples where they can cause spiritual and cultural damage in addition to physical destruction.

Mechanically, they are usually low- to mid-tier demons, making them appropriate for adventuring parties of moderate level. They typically lack finesse or magical prowess but compensate with sheer destructiveness, natural armor, and special abilities geared toward ruin and defilement. In some game systems, they may possess abilities that allow them to sunder objects more easily, curse beauty, or warp craftsmanship.

As antagonists, Abrikandilus represent corrupted vanity and a hatred of inspiration, making them thematic villains in stories involving art, beauty, and pride.
