This is a highly detailed miniature of a Hell Pug Mount.

This model was created by MZ4250 who makes amazingly accurate models of the Monster Manual creatures and provided by Commercial License.

A Hell Pug Mount in Dungeons & Dragons is a fiendish war beast, often associated with infernal realms like the Nine Hells. These creatures resemble oversized pugs with glowing red eyes, brimstone-black fur, and a constant haze of sulfurous smoke emanating from their nostrils. Bred by devils and dark sorcerers, Hell Pugs serve as both mounts and guardians, their small but muscular bodies imbued with supernatural endurance and resistance to fire.

Despite their squat stature, Hell Pugs are unnaturally fast, leaving scorched paw prints in their wake. They can charge into battle with surprising speed, unleashing fiery breath or hellish barks that cause fear and disorientation. Some legends say their bite burns with infernal energy, searing the flesh of the unworthy. Their temperament is fiercely loyal to their masters, yet unpredictable toward strangers, often shifting between playful mischief and violent aggression.

In terms of game mechanics, a Hell Pug might be classified as a fiendish beast or a small fiend, with traits such as Fire Resistance, Pack Tactics, and a Hellfire Bite. Some rare breeds even possess limited teleportation akin to a Blink Dog, allowing them to phase through dimensions in a burst of brimstone.

Most commonly, Hell Pugs are ridden by imps, minor devils, or warlocks who have forged pacts with infernal beings. However, ambitious adventurers might tame one through a combination of dark bargains, intense training, or powerful magic. While they require careful handling, their unwavering loyalty and combat prowess make them valuable—if dangerous—allies.

Legends tell of infernal nobles who parade through the streets of Dis on Hell Pug chariots, their beasts yapping with the sound of crackling fire. To own one is both a status symbol and a testament to one’s willingness to embrace the darkness.
