This is a Hueforge 3D Art of an Allosaurus.

An Allosaurus was a large, carnivorous dinosaur that lived during the Late Jurassic period, around 155 to 145 million years ago. It was one of the top predators of its time, roaming what is now North America and parts of Europe and Africa. The name “Allosaurus” means “different lizard,” referring to its unique vertebrae compared to earlier dinosaurs.

It walked on two powerful hind legs and balanced its body with a long, muscular tail. Its skull was large but relatively light, filled with sharp, serrated teeth designed for slicing through flesh. The forelimbs were short but strong, each ending in three clawed fingers that helped it grasp prey. Adults could reach lengths of up to 9 meters (30 feet) or more and likely hunted large herbivorous dinosaurs such as Stegosaurus and Camptosaurus, or scavenged when the opportunity arose.

Allosaurus had forward-facing eyes that gave it good depth perception, and evidence suggests it may have hunted in groups or at least tolerated others of its kind around carcasses. Its bones and fossils have been found in abundance at sites like the Morrison Formation in the western United States, making it one of the best-known and most studied Jurassic predators.
