A Boston Terrier is a small, compact dog breed originating in the United States, often called the “American Gentleman” because of its tuxedo-like markings and friendly demeanor. They typically weigh between 10 and 25 pounds and stand about 15–17 inches tall. Boston Terriers have a short, smooth coat that usually appears in black, brindle, or seal with distinct white markings on the chest, face, and paws. Their large, round eyes and short, square muzzle give them an expressive and alert look.

Temperament-wise, Boston Terriers are known for being affectionate, intelligent, and highly social. They thrive on human interaction and are generally friendly with children, other pets, and strangers, making them excellent family companions. They have moderate energy levels, enjoying playtime and short walks, but they are also content to relax at home.
