The Powderpuff variety, on the other hand, is completely covered in a soft, long coat of fur. Both types share the same temperament and physical structure. They are small dogs, typically weighing between 5–12 pounds, with a slender, graceful build and expressive eyes.
Chinese Cresteds are highly affectionate, social, and intelligent. They thrive on attention and often form strong bonds with their owners. Despite their delicate appearance, they are active and playful, enjoying short bursts of exercise and interactive play. They can be wary of strangers but are generally friendly when properly socialized.
