An Alkilith in *Dungeons & Dragons* is a chaotic and malevolent demon, born from the Abyss. These creatures are formed from corrupted, twisted matter and serve as agents of chaos, particularly as heralds of planar corruption. They possess a gelatinous, amorphous form, often resembling a mass of rotting flesh or oozing filth. Their shape is constantly shifting, which makes them difficult to target and allows them to squeeze through narrow spaces.

Alkiliths are drawn to doorways, windows, or any form of boundary between planes. They have a unique and dangerous ability to destabilize such portals, causing rifts to the Abyss.
