This is a Highly detailed miniature of an Armos for Dungeons & Dragons.

This model was created by Schlossbauer who makes amazingly accurate models of the Monster Manual creatures and provided by Commercial Licence.

In Dungeons & Dragons, an Armos is a construct or animated object resembling a heavily armored statue, often found as a guardian or trap within ancient ruins, temples, or dungeons. Inspired by mythology and classic fantasy tropes, Armos creatures are typically designed to appear inanimate until intruders disturb their designated area or trigger specific conditions, at which point they spring to life and attack. These constructs are usually created by powerful spellcasters or ancient civilizations to protect valuable treasures, sacred sites, or dangerous secrets.

Armos are generally immune to many forms of conventional damage due to their stone or metallic construction, and their magical origins often grant them resistances to conditions like being charmed or frightened. Their combat capabilities often rely on brute strength, with heavy slams, crushing blows, or even magical effects designed to dissuade or destroy intruders. While they lack independent thought, they are programmed with a single-minded purpose to guard their charge, following their creator's commands to the letter.

Their design and abilities can vary depending on the setting or the Dungeon Master's imagination. In some campaigns, they might be simple stone guardians that animate to attack trespassers. In others, they might have complex magical enhancements, like releasing blinding light, emitting magical auras, or teleporting to cut off adventurers' escape routes. The key to an Armos lies in its unpredictability; players often must solve puzzles, discern patterns, or find weak points to overcome these durable foes. As living puzzles themselves, Armos constructs are a staple of dungeon exploration, offering a mix of combat and strategy to challenge adventurers.
