This is a highly detailed miniature of a Baby Terrasque.

This model was created by M3DM who makes amazingly accurate models of Dungeons & Dragons creatures and is provided by Commercial License.

A Baby Tarrasque is a fan-created concept in Dungeons & Dragons, as the official lore does not include any canonical reference to juvenile versions of the legendary Tarrasque. The Tarrasque is a colossal, nearly indestructible kaiju-like monster, one of the most powerful creatures in D&D. The idea of a baby version, however, has been explored in homebrew settings and unofficial content.

A Baby Tarrasque is typically depicted as a smaller, less powerful but still highly dangerous version of its adult form. While it lacks the full destructive potential of the original, it retains traits such as thick natural armor, rapid regeneration, and a voracious appetite. Some interpretations give it an almost "cute but deadly" demeanor, leading to narratives where adventurers stumble upon an infant Tarrasque and must decide whether to destroy it before it grows or attempt to tame it.

The origins of a Baby Tarrasque vary in homebrew lore. Some say Tarrasques reproduce asexually, hatching from eggs laid in deep, hidden caverns. Others suggest they are rare offspring of an elder Tarrasque, appearing once in an age. In some cases, magical experiments or divine intervention create them. Their growth rate and whether they can be controlled depend on the Dungeon Master's setting.

Mechanically, a Baby Tarrasque would be a high-challenge creature, stronger than most monsters but not nearly as world-ending as its adult counterpart. Some DMs might allow players to raise one, introducing a potential campaign arc where the creature grows in power over time, either becoming an ally or an uncontrollable force of destruction.

While not an official part of D&D, the Baby Tarrasque is a fun and creative addition for storytelling, balancing humor, danger, and moral dilemmas in a campaign.
