This is a Highly detailed miniature of a Globster for Dungeons & Dragons.

This model was created by Schlossbauer who makes amazingly accurate models of the Monster Manual creatures and provided by Commercial Licence.

In Dungeons & Dragons, a Globster is a grotesque aberration that dwells in the darkest depths of the ocean, often lurking in underwater caves or deep trenches. These massive, amorphous creatures resemble a nightmarish fusion of various sea creatures, with slimy tentacles, gaping maws, and pulsating organs visible beneath their translucent skin.

Globsters are thought to be the result of magical experiments gone awry or the product of ancient, eldritch forces. They possess a voracious appetite, consuming anything unfortunate enough to come within reach of their writhing appendages. Their diet includes fish, crustaceans, and even larger sea creatures, which they ensnare with their tentacles before dragging them into their gelatinous bodies to be dissolved and digested.

Despite their sluggish appearance, Globsters are surprisingly agile in the water, capable of darting forward with surprising speed to ambush prey. They have no true eyes but possess a form of rudimentary sensory organs that allow them to detect vibrations and movement in the water, enabling them to hunt effectively even in complete darkness.

Encountering a Globster is a terrifying prospect for adventurers exploring the depths of the ocean. Their acidic secretions can quickly corrode armor and weapons, making direct confrontation a dangerous endeavor. Instead, cunning adventurers may seek to outmaneuver or outwit the creature, exploiting its slow turning radius and limited mobility on land.

Globsters are rarely encountered near populated coastlines, preferring the desolate isolation of the deep sea. However, rumors persist of cults and dark sorcerers who seek to summon and control these abominations for their own nefarious purposes, making them a potential threat to coastal communities if left unchecked. Only the bravest and most skilled adventurers dare to face these eldritch horrors in their own watery domain.
