This is a highly detailed miniature of a Goblin Tinkerer.

This model was created by Ella´s Arcanum who makes amazingly accurate models of Dungeons & Dragons creatures and is provided by Commercial License.

A Goblin Tinkerer in Dungeons and Dragons is a volatile blend of manic curiosity, reckless ingenuity, and barely contained destruction. Where other goblins value brute force or stealth, the tinkerer worships invention, driven by an insatiable urge to build, modify, and explode anything that can be taken apart. Their creations are rarely elegant, often unstable, and almost always dangerous, but they work just well enough to be terrifyingly effective.

Physically, a goblin tinkerer is much like its kin: small, wiry, and sharp-featured, with oversized eyes that gleam with obsession. These eyes are often protected by cracked goggles, scorched lenses, or improvised visors. Their clothing is cluttered with belts, straps, and pockets overflowing with bombs, springs, wires, gears, and half-finished devices. Burns, scars, and missing eyebrows are common, worn as badges of experience rather than warnings. Every goblin tinkerer smells faintly of smoke, oil, and ozone.

Mentally, goblin tinkerers are brilliant in short, explosive bursts. They think quickly, leap to dangerous conclusions, and have little patience for safety or long-term planning. Failure is simply another experiment, especially if it explodes impressively. While still selfish and opportunistic, a tinkerer’s loyalty can sometimes be bought with rare components, access to workshops, or permission to test new devices in live combat.

In battle, a Goblin Tinkerer is chaos incarnate. They rely on improvised explosives, alchemical bombs, clockwork traps, and unpredictable gadgets that reshape the battlefield. Fire, shrapnel, smoke, and noise are their preferred tools, used to sow panic and confusion. They fight at range when possible, darting away from their own blasts, though they show little concern for collateral damage, including allies.

Within a campaign, a Goblin Tinkerer can serve as an unpredictable enemy, a dangerous ally, or a recurring nuisance whose inventions escalate in scale and absurdity. As a player character or NPC, they bring a tone of madcap invention and explosive risk, embodying the goblin philosophy that if something has not exploded yet, it simply has not been pushed hard enough.
