This is a Highly detailed miniature of a Lemure for Dungeons & Dragons.

This model was created by Schlossbauer who makes amazingly accurate models of the Monster Manual creatures and provided by Commercial Licence.

In Dungeons & Dragons (D&D), a lemure is one of the lowest-ranking devils in the infernal hierarchy, resembling a shapeless, humanoid blob of molten flesh. They are the souls of the wicked that have been damned to the Nine Hells, where they undergo a process of degradation and torment, transforming them into these mindless, servile creatures.

Lemures lack intelligence and individuality, existing only to serve more powerful devils and carry out their commands without question. They are often used as cannon fodder in the Blood War, the eternal conflict between devils and demons, where their sheer numbers and expendability make them useful foot soldiers.

Physically, lemures are grotesque to behold, with their bodies constantly oozing and shifting. They possess no distinctive features or personality, their forms a mass of writhing flesh and agony. Despite their lack of intelligence, they possess a rudimentary understanding of combat and can overwhelm foes through sheer numbers.

In combat, lemures attack with their clawed hands, attempting to tear apart their enemies with relentless ferocity. While individually weak, they are often encountered in large groups, making them a significant threat through sheer force of numbers.

Lemures can be found throughout the Nine Hells, serving various archdevils and infernal lords in their schemes and machinations. They inhabit the lower planes of Hell, where they toil endlessly under the command of their superiors, forever bound to their infernal masters.

Despite their lowly status, lemures play an important role in the cosmology of D&D, representing the grim fate that awaits the souls of the wicked in the afterlife. They serve as a reminder of the consequences of evil deeds and the merciless nature of the infernal realms.
