This is a Highly detailed miniature of a Livyatan for Dungeons & Dragons.

This model was created by Schlossbauer who makes amazingly accurate models of the Monster Manual creatures and provided by Commercial Licence.

In Dungeons & Dragons, a Livyatan is a colossal sea monster inspired by the prehistoric whale species, Livyatan melvillei. These beasts are legendary in their size and ferocity, feared by sailors and coastal dwellers alike. A Livyatan is a gargantuan creature, often reaching lengths of over a hundred feet and possessing a mouth large enough to swallow a small ship whole.

Physically, a Livyatan resembles a monstrous cross between a whale and a shark, with massive jaws filled with rows of razor-sharp teeth capable of tearing through the toughest of ship hulls. Its body is covered in thick, armored scales, providing protection from both natural predators and the weapons of would-be hunters.

Livyatans are apex predators of the oceans, ruling over their domain with a mixture of sheer size, strength, and cunning. They are known to hunt in packs, coordinating attacks on larger prey such as whales or even entire fleets of ships. Their intelligence is surprisingly high for a creature of their size, allowing them to outmaneuver and outwit even the most experienced sailors.

Legends speak of ancient Livyatans that dwell in the deepest, darkest depths of the ocean, emerging only to wreak havoc upon the surface world. Some tales even claim that these colossal beasts are servants of powerful sea deities, sent to punish those who dare to trespass upon their domain.

Encountering a Livyatan is a rare and terrifying experience for any sailor brave or foolish enough to venture into its territory. Only the most skilled and resourceful adventurers stand a chance against such a formidable foe, and even then, victory is far from guaranteed.
