This is a Highly detailed miniature of a Monstrous Frog for Dungeons & Dragons.

This model was created by Schlossbauer who makes amazingly accurate models of the Monster Manual creatures and provided by Commercial Licence.

In Dungeons & Dragons, a Monstrous Frog is a grotesque amphibian creature that lurks in fetid swamps, murky ponds, and dank caverns. These repulsive beings are formidable predators, using their powerful hind legs to leap great distances and their long, sticky tongues to snatch unsuspecting prey.

Physically, Monstrous Frogs are larger and more aggressive cousins of their mundane counterparts. They can grow up to ten feet in length and possess mottled, slimy skin that blends seamlessly with their swampy surroundings. Their wide mouths are filled with rows of sharp teeth, perfect for tearing flesh and crushing bones.

Monstrous Frogs are highly adapted to their aquatic habitats, capable of holding their breath for extended periods underwater. They often lie in wait, partially submerged, until an unfortunate creature ventures too close. Then, with lightning speed, they lunge forward, grabbing their prey with their long, muscular tongues and dragging them into the water to be devoured.

These creatures are not only formidable predators but also resilient survivors. Their thick, rubbery skin provides natural armor against attacks, and their keen senses allow them to detect even the slightest movement in the water. Additionally, Monstrous Frogs possess a regenerative ability that allows them to heal rapidly from injuries, making them even more difficult to defeat.

Encountering a Monstrous Frog in the wild can be a harrowing experience for adventurers. Their ambush tactics and ferocious nature make them dangerous opponents, particularly in the murky depths where they thrive. Only the most skilled and resourceful adventurers stand a chance against these monstrous amphibians, and even then, victory is far from guaranteed.
