A Nightwalker in Dungeons & Dragons is a towering, undead horror from the Negative Energy Plane. These creatures are immense, shadowy figures that embody entropy and destruction, standing around 20 feet tall with elongated limbs and skeletal features. They are drawn into the Material Plane when someone attempts to enter the Negative Energy Plane using a ritual or planar magic but fails to return, causing a Nightwalker to emerge in their place.

Nightwalkers exude an aura of pure malevolence, draining life from those who come near them. Their presence warps reality, suppressing healing and making it difficult for creatures to escape. They are relentless in their pursuit of destruction, often roaming aimlessly while annihilating anything in their path.
