This is a Highly detailed miniature of a Piranhaplant for Dungeons & Dragons.

This model was created by Schlossbauer who makes amazingly accurate models of the Monster Manual creatures and provided by Commercial Licence.

In Dungeons & Dragons, a Piranhaplant is a carnivorous plant monster inspired by the Piranha Plant enemy from the Super Mario video game series. These creatures lurk in damp, dark environments such as swamps, jungles, or underground caverns, lying in wait for unsuspecting prey to pass by.

Physically, a Piranhaplant resembles a large, fleshy flower with razor-sharp teeth lining its gaping maw. Its stalk is covered in thick, leafy appendages that provide camouflage amidst foliage or undergrowth. Despite their plant-like appearance, Piranhaplants are aggressive predators, using their sharp teeth to tear apart anything that comes within reach.

Piranhaplants are ambush predators, preferring to lie in wait for their prey rather than actively seeking it out. They often conceal themselves among other plant life or within bodies of water, ready to strike when an unfortunate creature ventures too close. When a potential meal approaches, the Piranhaplant lunges forward with surprising speed, attempting to ensnare its victim in its toothy jaws.

In combat, Piranhaplants rely on their bite attacks, which can cause significant damage to their prey. Additionally, they may possess abilities such as acid spit or a poisonous bite, adding an extra layer of danger to encounters with these vicious plants.

Piranhaplants are typically encountered as solitary creatures, but in areas with abundant food sources, they may congregate in small groups, forming dangerous patches of carnivorous flora that can overwhelm careless adventurers.

Defeating a Piranhaplant requires caution and strategy. Due to their plant nature, they are vulnerable to fire and slashing attacks, but their thick stalks provide some natural armor against physical damage. Adventurers must be mindful of their surroundings and take care not to underestimate these seemingly harmless plants, for a Piranhaplant's bite can be just as deadly as any predator's.
