This is a Highly detailed miniature of a Yeti for Dungeons & Dragons.

This model was created by Schlossbauer who makes amazingly accurate models of the Monster Manual creatures and provided by Commercial Licence.

In Dungeons & Dragons, a Yeti is a monstrous creature that inhabits cold, mountainous regions, often depicted as a large, hulking, humanoid beast covered in white fur. Resembling the legendary abominable snowman of Himalayan folklore, Yetis are characterized by their formidable strength, keen senses, and savage demeanor. They stand about 8 to 12 feet tall, with sharp claws and teeth, and their piercing blue eyes are capable of seeing in the dark. Their fur provides excellent camouflage in snowy environments, making them adept ambushers.

Yetis are notorious for their ferocity and territorial nature. They are primarily carnivorous and have a preference for humanoid flesh, making them a significant threat to adventurers and travelers who venture into their domains. Their ability to blend into their icy surroundings allows them to strike with surprising speed and efficiency, often immobilizing prey with a chilling gaze that induces a paralytic fear. This "chilling gaze" is a special ability that can freeze creatures in place, leaving them vulnerable to the Yeti's powerful attacks.

Socially, Yetis are typically solitary, though they can sometimes be found in small family groups or packs, particularly during harsh winters when food is scarce. They are highly adapted to their environment, capable of surviving extreme cold that would be lethal to most other creatures. Despite their brutish appearance and behavior, Yetis are intelligent enough to use rudimentary tactics and understand the basics of their territory's geography.

In gameplay, encountering a Yeti poses a significant challenge due to their physical prowess and their environmental advantages. They are often used by Dungeon Masters to create suspense and danger in campaigns set in arctic or mountainous regions. Successfully defeating a Yeti can require strategic planning and a keen awareness of their unique abilities and the terrain.
