This is a Highly detailed miniature of a Zombie Cow for Dungeons & Dragons.

This model was created by Schlossbauer who makes amazingly accurate models of the Monster Manual creatures and provided by Commercial Licence.

In Dungeons & Dragons, a Zombie Cow is a macabre twist on the familiar farm animal. Created through dark necromantic magic, these creatures embody the unsettling combination of a docile bovine nature and the relentless hunger of the undead.

Physically, a Zombie Cow appears much like a normal cow at first glance, albeit with visible signs of decay and corruption. Its hide may be partially rotted, with patches of fur missing or matted with filth. The eyes, once gentle and placid, now glow with an eerie, malevolent light, indicating the necromantic energy that animates it.

Despite their undead status, Zombie Cows retain some semblance of their original behavior. They often move in slow, lumbering gaits, as if they were still grazing in a pasture. However, their instincts have twisted, and they now seek the flesh of the living with a mindless determination. While not particularly intelligent, they possess a primal cunning that allows them to coordinate simple attacks and movements, often driven by a hunger that cannot be sated.

In combat, Zombie Cows use their sheer bulk and weight to trample and crush opponents. Their bites, though decayed and foul, can transmit infections or necrotic diseases, adding to their lethal nature. Despite lacking the strategic finesse of more intelligent undead, their relentless pursuit makes them formidable opponents, especially in enclosed spaces or rural settings where their presence can take adventurers by surprise.

Encounters with Zombie Cows often evoke a mixture of horror and dark humor, contrasting their mundane origins with their horrifying transformation into instruments of death. Whether encountered alone or as part of a larger undead horde, these creatures serve as a grim reminder of the twisted possibilities of necromancy in the world of Dungeons & Dragons.
