This is a Highly detailed miniature of a Zombie Mother for Dungeons & Dragons.

This model was created by Schlossbauer who makes amazingly accurate models of the Monster Manual creatures and provided by Commercial Licence.

In Dungeons & Dragons, a Zombie Mother is a particularly unsettling undead creature that embodies both tragedy and horror. Typically encountered in eerie, desolate places or amidst cursed ruins, these entities are remnants of mothers who died under traumatic circumstances, often involving the loss or corruption of their children. Through dark necromantic forces or curses, their maternal instincts are perverted, driving them to haunt the places associated with their tragedy.

Physically, a Zombie Mother appears as a grotesque parody of motherhood. Its form is often emaciated and decayed, with flesh hanging loosely from its bones. Yet, its eyes retain a glimmer of recognition and longing, reflecting the memories of its lost children. These creatures emit a mournful wail or whisper, drawing unwitting adventurers closer with promises of comfort or sorrowful cries.

In combat, a Zombie Mother attacks not out of malice but from a twisted compulsion to protect or reclaim what it has lost. It lashes out with unnaturally strong arms, attempting to grapple and draw victims into a macabre embrace. Those captured by its embrace risk being drained of life force, as the Zombie Mother attempts to feed on the vitality of the living to sustain its spectral bond with its lost offspring.

Encounters with a Zombie Mother are often poignant and tragic, as adventurers may uncover the tale of its demise through exploration and interaction with the environment. Destroying a Zombie Mother may involve laying its lost children to rest, breaking a curse, or fulfilling an unfulfilled promise from its previous life. In doing so, the creature may find peace, releasing its tormented spirit from the cycle of undeath.
