This is a Highly detailed miniature of a Zombie Squirrel for Dungeons & Dragons.

This model was created by Schlossbauer who makes amazingly accurate models of the Monster Manual creatures and provided by Commercial Licence.

In Dungeons & Dragons, a Zombie Squirrel is a diminutive yet eerie undead creature, blending the natural agility and size of a squirrel with the macabre traits of undeath. Created through necromantic magic or cursed environments, these creatures are typically encountered in dark forests or haunted woods where necromantic energies linger.

Physically, a Zombie Squirrel resembles a normal squirrel at first glance, but closer inspection reveals its decayed fur, milky white eyes devoid of life, and an unsettling odor of rot. Despite its undead nature, it retains the quick reflexes and nimbleness of a living squirrel, which makes it surprisingly agile and difficult to catch or strike in combat.

In terms of behavior, Zombie Squirrels exhibit a basic predatory instinct, driven by a hunger for flesh and spreading the curse of undeath. They often move in small packs, attacking larger prey or overwhelming travelers who venture into their domain. Their bite, though small, can transmit a necrotic disease that weakens the victim's vitality over time, turning them into potential hosts for more undead creatures.

Combatting a Zombie Squirrel requires caution despite their small size. They are adept at climbing trees and leaping from branch to branch, using their agility to avoid attacks and closing in swiftly on their prey. Spells that target undead creatures effectively harm them, while weapons with magical properties or those infused with radiant energy can disrupt their undead resilience.

Encounters with Zombie Squirrels add a touch of dark whimsy to adventures, blending horror with the unexpected appearance of an undead creature in the guise of a harmless woodland animal. They serve as reminders of the pervasive influence of necromancy and the potential for undeath to corrupt even the most innocent of creatures in the world of Dungeons & Dragons.
