This is a Highly detailed miniature of a Zorbo for Dungeons & Dragons.

This model was created by Schlossbauer who makes amazingly accurate models of the Monster Manual creatures and provided by Commercial Licence.

In Dungeons & Dragons, a Zorbo is a creature known for its viciousness and peculiar habits. Native to the jungles of Chult in the Forgotten Realms setting, Zorbos are small, bear-like animals with coarse fur and sharp claws adapted for climbing trees and tearing through flesh. Despite their diminutive size, they are formidable predators, known for their ambush tactics and relentless pursuit of prey.

Zorbos have a unique dietary preference: they exclusively consume magic items. This peculiar trait sets them apart from other predators, as they actively seek out enchanted objects to devour. This makes them a particular threat to adventurers who carry valuable magical gear. Their ability to detect magic helps them locate such items, making them patient hunters when stalking groups of travelers or lurking near ancient ruins.

In combat, Zorbos rely on their sharp claws and agility. They are quick and nimble, capable of scaling trees to gain advantageous positions or to retreat and ambush from above. Their ferocity in battle is matched by their resilience, as their thick fur and tough hide provide a measure of natural armor against physical attacks.

Despite their predatory nature, Zorbos are not inherently evil. They simply follow their instincts to survive in their harsh jungle habitat. They can be encountered alone, in pairs, or occasionally in small family groups. Because of their knack for scavenging magic items, encounters with Zorbos often result in unexpected twists and challenges for adventurers, forcing them to reconsider their strategies and resource management.

Overall, Zorbos add a distinct flavor of danger and unpredictability to campaigns set in the jungles of Chult, presenting a unique threat that goes beyond mere physical prowess to include a keen sense for magical artifacts coveted by both heroes and villains alike.
