Northampton Town’s home ground, Sixfields Stadium, is a modern, all-seater venue located on the western edge of Northampton, England. Opened in 1994, it replaced the club’s former County Ground and was designed to provide improved facilities and comfort for both players and supporters. The stadium has a capacity of around 7,700, creating an intimate atmosphere where fans are close to the action on the pitch. Its main stand, the West Stand, houses the club offices, changing rooms, and hospitality suites, while the other stands provide clear, unobstructed views of the field.  

Sixfields also includes training pitches and a nearby retail and leisure complex, making it a convenient and lively matchday destination. Despite its modest size compared to larger league grounds, it has a loyal and passionate fan base, giving matches a strong community feel. The stadium has hosted not only Northampton Town’s home fixtures but also occasional reserve and youth matches, as well as other sporting and community events, serving as an important hub for the town’s sporting life.
