Originating in the 1960s through natural genetic mutations in Canada, the Sphynx was selectively bred to create a stable, hairless breed. They are medium-sized cats with muscular, sturdy bodies, broad chests, and prominent cheekbones. Their ears are large and bat-like, and their eyes are typically lemon-shaped, giving them an alert and expressive face.
