This is a Highly detailed miniature of a Dwarf Ghoul for Dungeons & Dragons.

This model was created by MZ4250 who makes amazingly accurate models of the Monster Manual creatures and provided by Commercial License.

A Dwarf Ghoul is a horrifying undead creature created when a dwarf dies under the influence of powerful necromantic magic, an ancient curse, or the corrupting touch of undeath. Once proud craftsmen, fearless warriors, or steadfast defenders of their mountain halls, these fallen dwarves are transformed into ravenous monsters driven by an insatiable hunger for the flesh of the living. Twisted echoes of their former determination remain, making them relentless hunters that pursue their prey with grim persistence through abandoned mines, forgotten strongholds, and haunted tunnels.

Though shorter than most humanoids, a Dwarf Ghoul possesses a stocky, muscular frame that remains deceptively powerful despite its state of decay. Its grey, corpse-like skin clings tightly to prominent bones, while patches of its once-proud beard hang in filthy, tangled clumps. Hollow eyes glow with a sickly green or yellow light, and its mouth is filled with jagged, broken teeth stained by countless grisly feasts. Long, blackened claws extend from its thick fingers, scraping sparks from stone floors as it stalks silently through the darkness. Fragments of rusted chainmail, battered helmets, or ancient clan insignia often remain attached to its body, serving as haunting reminders of the warrior it once was.

In combat, a Dwarf Ghoul is swift, vicious, and terrifyingly persistent. It lunges from the shadows with surprising speed, slashing with its filthy claws before tearing into its victims with powerful jaws. Its touch carries the supernatural paralysis common to ghouls, freezing prey in place while the undead creature prepares to feast. Unlike ordinary ghouls, a Dwarf Ghoul's sturdy physique allows it to endure punishment that would destroy weaker undead, making it especially dangerous in narrow tunnels where its compact build is an advantage.

Some Dwarf Ghouls instinctively gather in abandoned dwarven cities, endlessly wandering the halls they once defended. Drawn to the sounds of mining, hammering, or dwarven voices, they may emerge from ancient passages in silent packs, attacking with frightening coordination born from lingering fragments of their former military discipline.

In a Dungeons & Dragons campaign, a Dwarf Ghoul is a chilling reminder that even the proudest heroes can fall to darkness. Whether haunting a ruined fortress or guarding forgotten treasures beneath the mountains, it combines dwarven resilience with the relentless hunger and supernatural terror of undeath.

This model is 28.91mm tall at 32mm scale.
