A Goat Hydra in Dungeons & Dragons is a monstrous multi-headed creature that blends the characteristics of a traditional hydra with the stubborn resilience of a goat. While standard hydras are reptilian and serpentine, a Goat Hydra has thick fur, cloven hooves, and multiple goat-like heads, each possessing a unique mix of wild aggression and unshakable stubbornness.  

Like its reptilian counterpart, a Goat Hydra has powerful regeneration, making it difficult to kill unless its heads are severed and their stumps are cauterized. If left unchecked, a decapitated Goat Hydra can sprout two new heads in place of a lost one, increasing its ferocity in combat. Unlike typical hydras, its heads do not just bite—they can also deliver devastating headbutts capable of knocking opponents off their feet or even shattering obstacles.  

This beast is often found in mountainous terrain, where it fearlessly charges intruders, defending its territory with relentless fury.
