This is a Highly detailed miniature of a Hungry Flesh.

This model was created by Schlossbauer who makes amazingly accurate models of the Monster Manual creatures and provided by Commercial Licence.

The Hungry Flesh is a strange and unsettling creature that originated in Dungeons & Dragons through planar corruption or magical experiments gone horribly wrong. It most famously appears in Pathfinder, but it’s easily adapted for D&D settings where aberrations and flesh-warping phenomena thrive. Described as a writhing mass of skin, muscle, and mouths, the Hungry Flesh is an organism that constantly shifts, grows, and devours. It lacks any true anatomical structure, instead resembling a pulsating blob of living tissue that extends pseudopods, mouths, and tendrils from its ever-changing surface.

What makes the Hungry Flesh terrifying is its ability to consume and assimilate organic matter. It doesn’t just eat—it absorbs, breaking down creatures it touches and incorporating their biological essence into itself. Victims of the Hungry Flesh are often left partially digested, still alive and screaming as they are slowly absorbed, their faces and limbs sometimes appearing briefly on the surface of the creature before vanishing into the roiling bulk. It’s a creature of hunger made manifest, driven not by intelligence but by instinctive, unrelenting need.

Mechanically, a Hungry Flesh typically has traits such as regeneration, amorphous movement, and abilities that cause ongoing damage to creatures it grapples or engulfs. Its presence may even warp the flesh of nearby living things, causing mutations or flesh-melding effects. It may regenerate from wounds or even split into smaller versions of itself, much like an oozing contagion of living meat. In a narrative, it serves as a powerful horror element, especially in places touched by the Far Realm, cursed laboratories, or ancient ruins where flesh-magic or bioalchemy once thrived.

Hungry Flesh is not a creature that negotiates or reasons. It exists only to grow and consume, and wherever it appears, it leaves behind a trail of bones, blood, and quivering remnants of life.
