Dungeons & Dragons Nupperibo Miniature

In the vast multiverse of Dungeons & Dragons (D&D), Nupperibos are grotesque fiends, the lowest rank of the Blood War's demonic hierarchy. These creatures dwell within the infernal layers of the Abyss, serving more powerful demons in their ceaseless conflicts against the forces of Hell. 

Physically, Nupperibos are repulsive to behold, resembling bloated, malformed humanoids with pallid, rubbery skin stretched over their corpulent bodies. Their faces are dominated by a large mouth filled with rows of jagged teeth, and their tiny, red eyes gleam with malevolence. Despite their intimidating appearance, Nupperibos lack intelligence and are driven primarily by instinct and the commands of their demonic superiors.

These fiends are not formidable combatants individually, possessing minimal combat skills and lacking the strategic acumen of higher-ranking demons. However, they compensate for their deficiencies through sheer numbers, often overwhelming opponents through sheer weight of numbers.

Nupperibos are typically deployed as cannon fodder in the Blood War, thrown into battle en masse to wear down the enemy and create diversions while more powerful demons execute their strategies. They are also employed as laborers and menial servants within the Abyss, tasked with menial chores and upkeep of demonic fortifications.

Despite their lowly status, Nupperibos possess a degree of resilience, their bodies able to endure substantial punishment before succumbing to death. However, they are susceptible to holy magic and weapons imbued with divine energy, making them vulnerable to the forces of good.

In D&D campaigns, Nupperibos often serve as minions or disposable adversaries for low-level parties, providing an introductory challenge before facing more significant demonic threats. Their presence can add depth to adventures set in the Abyss or other infernal realms, showcasing the horrors of the Blood War and the depravity of demonic society.
