A Sewer Blight in Dungeons & Dragons is a type of plant-like creature found in the dank, fetid underbellies of cities, where sewage and decay thrive. These unnatural entities are often the byproducts of corrupted druidic magic, necromantic influences, or environmental contamination in areas heavily polluted by filth and waste. Resembling humanoid plant constructs, Sewer Blights are composed of vines, muck, and organic detritus. Their forms are grotesque and slimy, with a pungent stench that heralds their presence long before they are seen. 

These creatures serve as territorial predators and guardians of their sewer habitats. They can be hostile toward intruders, attacking with thorny tendrils or suffocating foes in toxic sludge. A Sewer Blight’s primary defense is its ability to manipulate its environment, often using the surrounding filth to obscure itself or set up ambushes.
