This is a Highly detailed miniature of a Zombie Flying Squirrel for Dungeons & Dragons.

This model was created by Schlossbauer who makes amazingly accurate models of the Monster Manual creatures and provided by Commercial Licence.

In Dungeons & Dragons, a Zombie Flying Squirrel is a creature borne of dark magic and necromantic experimentation. Unlike typical squirrels, these aberrations are reanimated corpses animated by sinister forces, often found in cursed forests or haunted woodlands where necromancers ply their trade.

Physically, a Zombie Flying Squirrel appears as a grotesque hybrid of its former self. Its once soft fur is matted and patchy, revealing rotting flesh beneath. The eyes, once bright and curious, are now clouded over with a dull, malevolent glow. Clumps of fur cling to its skeletal frame, and its limbs move unnaturally, driven by the necrotic energy that sustains it.

Despite its decayed state, a Zombie Flying Squirrel retains some semblance of its former agility and dexterity. It can still dart through the air with surprising speed, using its tattered wings to glide from tree to tree or to descend upon unsuspecting prey. In combat, it attacks with a vicious bite, its teeth sharp and stained with necrotic decay.

These creatures are typically found in small groups, driven by a base instinct to feed on flesh and spread the curse of undeath. They emit eerie, chittering sounds that echo through the haunted woods they inhabit, serving as a warning to those who dare to trespass into their domain.

Encounters with Zombie Flying Squirrels are unsettling and dangerous, as they combine the unpredictability of their living counterparts with the relentless aggression of undead creatures. Their presence often indicates a nearby source of necromantic power or an unquiet spirit that has yet to find rest, making them both a threat and a clue in the larger mysteries of the campaign world.
