This Bust is 3D Printed using Black PLA Filament and Dry-brushed with Gold Gilding Wax to give it a Bronze Statue effect.
This Schnoodle bust captures the distinctive charm of the Schnauzer–Poodle cross, combining refined structure with richly layered coat detail. The piece balances softness and alertness in a harmonious composition.
The head presents a well-defined muzzle with subtle squaring at the jaw, reflecting Schnauzer influence, while maintaining the softer contours typical of the Poodle lineage. The brow is gently pronounced, giving depth to the eye and reinforcing the breed’s intelligent, attentive expression. The eye itself is carefully recessed, framed by sculpted fur texture that enhances realism without overpowering the form.
Coat modelling is the dominant feature of this sculpture. Layered waves cascade from the crown down along the cheeks and neck, creating depth and dimensional movement. The sculpted texture varies deliberately—tighter curls transition into longer, flowing strands—capturing the hybrid’s signature coat character. Under the jaw and along the throat, the fur is shaped with controlled tapering, preventing visual heaviness and preserving structural clarity.
The bronze-style finish enriches the modelling. Dark patina settles within the fur recesses, while warm metallic highlights accentuate raised textures, brow ridges, and muzzle contours. This contrast emphasises craftsmanship and enhances the perception of depth across the layered coat.
